Sabah Kota Kinabalu Trip (11-15/4/2008)

Day 1 Melaka --> LCCT --> KK
Our kids are very excited about the trip to KK. This is because they like to travel in the airplane. We also decide to bring our 1.5 years old baby with us. We knew it will be a big challenge to travel with 3 kids. :)
We started the journey at 2.30pm and reach KK at 10pm so it took us about 8 hours from Melaka to KK.
When we reach KK Summerlodge hotel, it was late and everybody was tired so we decided to rest early.

Day 2 City tour
Sabah wake up very early, 5am is already bright outside.
Alamak... after only less than an hour walk, kids start to complain and want to go back to hotel. :(

Btw, there is a stall behind the summberlodge hotel selling good goreng pisang. Pisang goreng is crispy. A lot of people queue up just for the pisang goreng.

Day 3 Pulau Mautikan
Morning Sunday market, bought 1 MU Jersey. RM20 :)

We are very tired after this pulau trips and decide to have something fast and easy as dinner.

KFC. :)

Day 4 Taman Kinabalu/Poring
I decide to rent a car to Poring after compare the travel package which is RM180 per person. I asked for a Viva but was given a proton saga and this saga is not in good condition. It cost me about RM128.:(
I pump Shell petrol full tank RM73. I only use half tank for the whole trip, whoever rent the car after me will be

The Journey to Poring is not far but the road condition is not good and it cause us have to take longer hours to arrive at Taman Kinabalu.


Day 5 KK --> LCCT --> Melaka
The parking at LCCT cost me RM148. :(

I think this will be our holiday trip for this year. I hope we can have another trips next year.
